What We Believe

The most important decision you will ever make is what you will do with the central figure of all time Jesus Christ. When this life is over you will spend an eternity somewhere. Your eternal destination does NOT depend on your wealth, your religious background, your parent’s or children’s Christianity, any amount of good works or even an experience, but rather if you have received or rejected Christ sacrifice for you on the cross of Calvary. The wonderful thing is; even though this is the most important decision you will ever make, the way to heaven is actually very simple. God longs to forgive you of your sin and become a part of His family. Read the following verses concerning salvation, and receive Christ as your Savior and you too can have a life of purpose and meaning. We trust you will experience for yourself our Wonderful Lord.

Recognize Him as King

Who He Was
He was the God-man. He was all God and all man. He was the perfect and complete man. The Second Adam. The first Adam was made perfect but failed by his wrong choice and brought the curse of sin and death to mankind. Jesus was the only man who had the blood (life) of God, which means He had no sinful nature. (John 1:1,14)
Why He Came
The purpose of Christ Jesus in the world was to save sinners (Luke 19:10) and bring them back to God (I Peter 3:18). True, Jesus was known as the Great Teacher, but that was not His main reason for coming. He came so that He could pay the penalty of sin by dying on the cross. He was our sacrifice. (John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”)
His Actions
Jesus went about doing good (Act 10:38). He was constantly healing the crippled, blind, deaf, and the diseased, casting out devils. Seeking sinners was His main attraction. He had great compassion on the poor, and great warnings for the rich not to be entangled with their riches.
His Promises for Those Left Behind
He promised never to leave nor forsake those left on earth to carry on and to fulfill the work he left them to do of getting out the gospel to the ends of the earth. He promised that if we would put His work first that He would supply them with food, clothes, and shelter (Matthew 6:33, Philippians 4:19).
His Promise To Come Again
He will come back to the earth again to rule, not only Israel but the whole world (Luke 1:32-33, Daniel 2:44). He will return to earth to remove the curse from man, animal, and the earth (Romans 8:21-24, Isaiah 11:9, Hab. 2:14). He will remove anything and everything from the earth that would be contrary to His nature. He will accomplish this by putting Satan into the Lake of Fire. He promises then to create a new Heaven and a new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness. (II Peter 3:13, Rev. 21-22)

Realize Your Need as a Sinner

We are all sinners with the need to be delivered from the penalty of our sins.
Romans 3:10 – “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:”
Romans 3:23 – “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”
Romans 5:12 – “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:”
Romans 6:23 – “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation
John 14:6 – “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

Repent

A change of attitude about sin
Luke 5:32 – “I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
2 Corinthians 7:10 – “For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.”
Mat 4:17 – “From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
Act 3:19 – “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;”
Act 17:30 – “And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:”

Receive Him as Savior

Romans 10:9-13 – “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
1 Timothy 1:14-16 – “And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.”
John 5:24 – “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
John 1:12 – “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:”
Now is the time – today is the day!
2 Corinthians 6:2 – “Behold, now is the accepted time, behold, now is the day of salvation.”
